Wade Associates is a land planning and urban design firm established in Sacramento in 1981 and continuously operated in northern California and Nevada since that time. Wade Associates was founded by a husband-wife team, Connie Wade an ecologist and environmental planner and David Wade, AICP-CUD an urban planner and designer.

The firm was formed to implement a philosophy that the built environment should be fully integrated with the natural environment that produces “self-mitigating” plans that minimize the level of reevaluation required in the environmental impact review process, and which guide development that is responsive to the natural environment.
